Introduction to the Seven Rays

A sixteen-week group study for those who want not only to read about the seven rays but to observe them in their own lives, relationships and the world.

The seven rays are among the most practical teachings of the Ageless Wisdom. In the Tibetan's words, the student who would serve humanity must above all be practical; under the coming Aquarian influences students will begin to act with sensitivity and intelligence.

In this study we look at the similarities and differences of the rays and the areas where they blend. How does the intelligence of the third ray look different under the influence of the fifth? How do we observe the effect of the rays? How do we tell these subtle differences apart and integrate the energies in our own growth and service?

By the end of this study

  • Know the basic qualities, strengths and weaknesses of the seven rays
  • Begin to observe the traces of the rays in your life and surroundings
  • Understand the relationship between soul ray and personality ray
  • Read the effects of the outgoing sixth and incoming seventh rays in today's world
  • Use ray knowledge consciously in relationships, vocation and service

  1. A general introduction to the Science of the Seven Rays
  2. The nature of energy, human identity and the self
  3. Qualities and values as the key to the personality
  4. A purposeful approach to life
  5. Beings and emanations in our local cosmos
  6. Ray One: Will and Power
  7. Ray Two: Love-Wisdom
  8. Ray Three: Active Intelligence
  9. Ray Four: Harmony through Conflict
  10. Ray Five: Concrete Knowledge and Science
  11. Ray Six: Devotion and Idealism
  12. Ray Seven: Order and Ceremonial Magic

Each ray session studies the characteristic strengths and weaknesses of that ray. The closing session looks at ray cycles and the incoming seventh ray.

Questions

Does pre-registration commit me to anything?
No. Pre-registration is an interest list. When enough people have joined, we send you the date, time, format and contribution; final registration comes after that.
In which language are the courses taught?
Courses are currently taught in Turkish. If you would like to study in English, write to us; we may open an English-language group when there is enough interest.
Do you give certificates?
No. A student's level shows in their work, through heart and mind. We do not think external approval and accreditation suit the path of discipleship.
Which sources do we work with?
Our main source is the books of Alice A. Bailey. We give quotations with their sources and take care to keep the teaching separate from our own commentary.
